A Quick Survey

Now that I’ve had a chance to catch my breath, I’ve put together a short survey for October Unprocessed.

I’d really appreciate it if you would take just a few minutes to share your experience, thoughts on the project, and any other feedback or ideas you might have.

Go here to take the survey.  Thanks!

I’d also like to give a shout-out to Healthy Surprise, the official sponsor of October Unprocessed 2011!

I met with Joe yesterday at his office, and he showed me all the goodies he’s putting into the special “unprocessed surprise” box, specifically for Eating Rules readers.  If you haven’t signed up yet, it’s not too late!  It’s a great way to discover some new, unprocessed “treats.”  Joe works really hard to find creative and yummy foods to include in the box, and the assortment is quite impressive… I signed up for the service, and can’t wait to receive my box of goodies!  (Really!)

By signing up with Healthy Surprise, you’re supporting small businesses focused on healthful food. It’s a very easy way to vote with your dollar… and get some great snacks at the same time!

Remember to use coupon code UNPROCESSED for 20% off your first month. (There’s no commitment after that — you can cancel at any time.)

Never felt better in my life! I am so hooked! I can honestly say I am a whole foods addict! lol. And I am surprised at how much I eat everyday and am loosing body fat while gaining strength and clarity. I have not felt “cheated” yet – in fact I feel as though I have more options for meals and snacks than before. Thanks this has been a fantastic journy!

I thought of the unprocessed challenge last night when I picked up my Harvest Share, which fits right into what the challenge tried to accomplish.

Already in June you asked me where I disagree with you and I now take the chance to elaborate on it :)

The definition of “unprocessed food” as given in the survey is: “any food that could be made by a person with reasonable skill in a home kitchen with readily available, whole-food ingredients.”

What, on the other hand, would be “processed” food then?

To understand my problem with the concept, please see here:
