Get the Official Guide to October #Unprocessed 2013

We’re just a few days away from the start of October Unprocessed, and I’m getting pretty darn excited! More than 4,200 people have now taken the pledge – if you’re still on the fence, I hope you’ll consider joining in!

I’ve been getting lots of questions about specific foods, ways to prepare, how to make the most of the challenge, and more.

To help answer many of those questions, I’ve worked with my friends and health coaches Stacy Spensley, of Center Stage Wellness, and Suzanne Elizondo, MS, RD, to create The Official Guide to October Unprocessed.  It’s a free PDF download that answers many of the most common questions about the challenge. But more than that, it’s got lots of great information on how to help you get the most from the challenge, ways to avoid common “speed bumps,” advice for specific dietary restrictions,  and tons of other unprocessed goodness.

We’ve used the bookmarks feature in Acrobat so you should be able to jump around really easily. You may have seen some of this content before (particularly in the “Unprocessed FAQ” series), but this compiles it all into one place. We’ve also included lots of links to recipes and other resources — and it includes a linked list of all the guest posts from the previous challenges.

So download the free guide [766kb PDF], grab a mug of your favorite unprocessed beverage, and enjoy your weekend read!

Join Our New Facebook Group

We’ve just created a new October Unprocessed 2013 Facebook Group to expand the support network during the challenge.  Everyone who joins the group (it’s free, just request to join) will be able to post links, comments, questions, words of encouragement… Suzanne – a wonderfully enthusiastic health coach – has graciously agreed to take the lead in moderating the group. She’ll be online regularly to help answer questions and keep everyone on target. I’ll be stopping in too, of course!

An Important Note on Email Subscriptions

Lots of folks that have subscribed to email updates haven’t yet confirmed their subscriptions! Once you enter your email address, you should get an email confirmation with a link — you have to click the link to activate your subscription! If you didn’t get the email, check your spam folder — or just sign up again and it’ll send another confirmation email. Thanks!
